Use these routes according to the record or custody question:
- For a booking record or photograph, use the county records guide and ask LCSO for each item separately.
- For a new booking or recent release, search LCSO Arrest Search or call the LCSO non-emergency line at 239-477-1000.
- For the court case and disposition, use the Lee Clerk Court Records Inquiry or the Clerk’s records-request route.
- For release or transfer alerts tied to one person, use Florida VINE/VINELink.
- For a person sentenced to Florida state custody or supervision, use the Florida Department of Corrections Offender Search.
- For federal prison custody use the BOP Inmate Locator; for immigration detention use the ICE Online Detainee Locator.
- For a Cape Coral or Fort Myers police report, ask the city police records office that created it; city reports do not replace LCSO booking records.
A request should identify the booked name, date of birth if known, booking number, arrest or booking date, arresting agency, exact document, and preferred delivery method. LCSO publishes no special booking-photo price or guaranteed response time. Under Florida section 119.07, the custodian must acknowledge a request promptly and respond in good faith, subject to exemptions.
